Have I mentioned how awesome Zaffre is? Needless to say I was pretty excited when I got my order from Sock Dreams last week.
So right now this is what I’ve got in my shopping cart. Bat Attack Knee Highs are of course something I should have. I think the floral tights are just lovely. It was hard choosing a color but I think Platinum will go with more things than Plum. And I’ve been wanting the Nordic Texture Tights for a while. I’ve almost bought them before, but they sold out before I completed my check out.

This costume was put together very last minute. I put 2.5 hours into the wig and another 2.5 into the skirt. The rest was made up of items I already owned. Despite its simplicity, I had a blast being in character. (Photos by Vinh Vu.)

I love her socks! They look so cute with those pumps.
I’m thinking I’d like some cute neutral colored tights to wear with dresses in the spring. Currently I’m eying Longer O Chevrons in natural/white(left) and/or Nordic Texture Tights in ivory(right). Hrmm.

Twilight Sparkle (left) is wearing our Dream Stockings Super Stripes (Plum & Lilac, $10) slouched way down over purple tights (may I suggest one of the three purples available in Tabbisocks Color Tights?), while Pinkie Pie (centre) is dolled out in Leg Avenue Striped Over the Knees (Turquoise & Pink, $6). Someone needs to tell Fluttershy to stop being so shy of socks because our O Basics ($6) in Banana or Bubblegum would look darling with that dress.

Daww, our ponies got reblogged by Sock Dreams. Even a portion of my MLP cosplay panel is about coordinating Sock Dreams accessories with pony costumes. They just have so much great stuff for pony cosplays. For example, I’d love to see someone use some of the lace gloves and/or socks they sell as part of Rarity or Sweetie Belle costumes.
